February’s topic is Planning, Writing & Editing a Book that Doesn’t Suck, by Jaimie Engle

This should prove to be an extremely engaging workshop. Worksheets will be provided.

Jaimie Engle is an award-winning children’s book author from Melbourne, Florida. Before releasing her anti-bullying fantasy adventure, Clifton Chase and the Arrow of Light, she ran a body shop, played an alien on TV, and managed a hip-hop band. Her book on publishing was an Amazon #1 New Release, and her novel Metal Mouth is a contender for the 2020-2021 Florida Sunshine State List.

Jaimie Engle is a screenwriter, speaker, and award-winning author of fiction and non-fiction. She spent her childhood watching the same movies on repeat and writing down the dialogue. (Ask her to recite the Wizard of Oz!) She acted in commercials, television, and films in the 90s and behind the scenes on several indie film projects. In 2021, Jaimie’s cinefile obsession won out and she wrote several spec scripts for features and streaming shows, with several in the option process!
